eezergood
We went with our declaration to the Amphur & 20 mins (or so) later the marriage was done, no trip to BKK. Only translation was done via post.
LivinginKata
You need to have your declaration of marital status (single or divorced) witnessed by your embassy. So depends if your Phuket Hon Consul can perform this service or whether you have to go BKK embassy.

bubblegum
My consul already supplied me with an declaration and gave me a name of a translator who is on the list. So this is enough? No need for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs?

No need for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs? The translator can arrange things with Foreign Affairs. I also needed something translated and certified, from Thai to English, and had this done by the translation bureau almost next to the entry to Rang Hill, I think they're called Bangkok Translation. They translated and sent to Bangkok for me to get certified.

The place that issues the Thai passports.
