Before I bought the RS Sunbox, the store I bought it from contacted RS customer services and was told the CTH dish I have could be used with the Sunbox.

I think I have hooked everything up correctly, but no signal, everything else seems fine.

Anybody been in this position before? Or has any other ideas.

Also, anyone know where I can buy the 'black dish' ?. I am in Bangkok.

Ah yes I see. I should have said the World cup sunbox. It's just that the soccer mad folk tend to hang around the football forums and are more likely to have the knowledge.

But mods feel free to move and apologies in advance for any extra work caused.

Dont know the answer, but , you could ask if cth and rs sun box share the same satellite

As the referenced post says, different satellites.

While you can reuse the DISH and LNB from another service,

CTH is broadcast from the Vinasat 2 satellite (located at 131.8°E),

RS Sunbox channels are broadcast from Thaicom 5/6 (located at 78.5°E).

So, yes, you can reuse the parts, but you need to adjust the face of the dish clock-wise to face the Thaicom satellite.
