My new gaming video card

Nice card for sure. Hard to imagine why anyone except a fanboi would buy a R9 280x over this (unless cryptomining), considering they're priced the same right now. The R9 280x does however have 3GB or RAM over the 770's 2GB but the only reason you'd need more than 2GB is if you're gaming at a very high resolution or running a multiple monitor setup.

I'll be looking to buy my next card fairly soon (currently using a HD 6870) but I think I'll wait until the next batch of cards arrive from ATI/Nvidia. The current prices seem a little steep to me considering the GTX770 has been on the market for over a year already.

He may be relying on the separation of the wires to reduce interferAnce. Making cables run too neat and too close can cause interference between them:) That's my excuse and I am sticking to it.

You can't even spell "interference." biggrin.pngbiggrin.png

My guess is the op knows more about cable management than you will ever learn:D biggrin.png

Probably seems like rocket science, eh. I'm sure OP does know all about it. Knowing and doing are not the same, however. After all, he did post pics of the case interior--why, I dunno, but comments were invited. Yes, he can install a graphics card. smile.png

A typical quote from a know-all.

Relax guys. The reason to show the interior is to show an overview of the new PS and graphics card install and the modular flat cable system of the power supply. Yes, the cabling in the picture is not my finest moment but I rushed and didn't show the final configuration with my cable ties implemented.

As a side note, I've never bought an off the shelf workstation in my life. I've built every computer myself as far back as the 70's. wink.png
