If you have recently done this can you recommend a shipping company or if you have any bad reviews or experiences list them here or PM me. Did you pay up front the whole fee as this is what they are suggesting I have to do. It seems that I have to pay substantial money up front and hope that my stuff arrives here in good order- with nothing being stolen. Did you bother to pay insurance or not? thanks

seajae Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 I didnt bring any furniture etc but did bring my computer, fishing gear, cooking gear plus lots of other things I use regularly, 5 or 6 boxes in all. Used 7 seas, was supposed to take 6 weeks to get here but ended up taking closer to 9, customs seemed to like some of my stuff too as it dissapeared, no extra charges though but wasnt entirely happy with the service although it was door to door delivery and pick up. If you dont mind the wait they are ok but insure your stuff, very good price to do it as well with a couple of good options if you have bigger needs.

Rsquared Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 I had all my stuff packed in a 20' container by Wridgways, they wrapped and packed everything, door to door, 6 weeks delivery, insurance included $7000 Aussie up front. Highly recommend. Cheers.
