Chiang Mai accommodations for August

Hi,

I am new to this forum so I am hoping this is an appropriate post.

My girlfriend and will be spending the month of August in Chiang Mai taking the CELTA course. We are looking for reasonably inexpensive but NOT a dive accommodation in Hang Dong near the International House school campus (about 108 and the southern Ring Road, I think)

Ideally we would like a separate little bungalow as we will be playing music (guitar and flute) and don't want to be bothering people in neighboring rooms.

Any suggestions?

Don't know anywhere specific, but I would suggest taking a look through www.airbnb.com You'll get much better options through the site than the normal agoda/bookings search

I have no idea where the International House school campus is but this might work:

it's about 5 kms southwest of the 108/121 intersection you mention in a quiet rural area.

There isn't much around so you'll need your own transportation.

I've never stayed there but have several friends who have and they all loved it and thought it was good value for price. They rented a scooter to get around.
