Yeah, this is a trolly thread, but it strikes a chord I imagine. Many of us sometimes get the feeling we are treated both better and worse at the same time in Thailand. Certainly the OP is a sad individual , maybe I am lucky but have yet to experience the above and just returning from several months in OZ a pleasant attitude (over the counter) is a thing of the past in many establishments. I don't get the vibe that he/she is proposing at all. I do feel that there are a lot of racist Thais, but that sort of thing happens everywhere and in every country (most likely). I think that a lot of Thais want our money, but they don't want to do anything to actually earn it... something that is also most likely a global problem.
