Ive checked my pockets and im still some money short!. Funny thing - i recently bought a TAG Heuer Le-Mans 24 watch in Gulf/Porsche colors because of this man the car and the race , that i have been lucky to see several times.

There's a clip of the movie in the link, the clip is when he crashes at the end.. This is one of several movies of that era that launched my high interest in what is more historically termed as road racing, though now a days it is more incorrectly termed as circuit racing, it was termed road racing because often it was done on closed street circuits and also because the courses resembled daily roads but if you use that terminology these days most people now think you just have a spontaneous side by side racing contest on a road and that's "road racing"..

But the 024 has more value having been driven by Steve McQueen in the movie, I think I read at least $5,000,000 more.. The 023 is only valued at $10,000,000 as I understood..
