Anna and the King , the movie, banned or not?

My wife was watching one of the movie channels on television and "Anna and the King" in its English version was on.

I was surprised since I thought that this movie along with "The King and I" were banned in Thailand.

Yes i think so too. Along with some books such as The King Never Smiles.
