VIP Bus Hat Yai to Phuket

Featured Replies

hi guys , i need to get from Hat Yai to Phuket on Saturday evening can anyone recommend a VIP bus service and possibly a timetable or contact number ..cheers

the schedule is here: http://www.vararatsamee.co.th/

If you don't read Thai, the table on the left are the times of departure from Phuket Bus Terminal 2

The times on the right are corresponding arrival times in Haad Yai.

Bon Voyage

From HY to Phuket .. The office is in Hat Yai Nai, on the road, opposite the newer tesco lotus / new mini van station, you will see the buses with a red & blue horizontal stripe on the road. Any songthaew running from immigration / police station should be able to take you there, its a fair way out, so expect to pay 150B or something on a tuk-tuk.

Although not a big VIP bus, i heard its the method of choice for most commuters, the price is good, there looks to be plenty of room and 7 hours isnt a bad run. This doesnt run from the main bus station in town, so ignore the tuk-tuk drivers as they probably dont know about this relatively new service, the blue / yellow taxis will know, its right opposite their office.
