I presume you ordered it from a local seller. Where from and how much?

I got an invite yesterday from the company to order one (I registered with them when it was first announced). They still don't ship to Thailand but it doesn't matter to me as I already bought a new phone.

I've bought from China. I couldn't find a local seller.

Oneplus won't ship to Thailand. You can ship it to supported countries and then post it here. However cost-wise it won't be cheaper than buying from China.

I was going to but got sick of the invite system and got an LG G3 on contract. I was actually planning to buy 2 and take 1 to Thailand for the gf..

Well, unless you can buy from American prices, there is no need to deal with Invites as Europe pays 269 euros = 365 usd

Chinese dealers sells at that price and no need for invites :)

It is too far from Bangkok. Too much money to trust some shop 900 kms from Bangkok.

I found out they sell for 12,990 (or 12,900) in Bangkok but asking 2000 baht deposit, it means not in stock and they order from China when somebody buys & pays deposit to them.

Anyone naive enough to trust Thailand Post COD (Cash On Delivery) over Paypal's International buyers protection shouldn't be allowed in this forum.

There were a lot of reports of scams via COD about some satellite guy / IPTV seller. I won't waste my time to prove my point as you are annoying and ignorant.

Apart from the useless, childish bickering....has someone took a closer look at this mentioned "shop"?

If yes, you would have noticed that every phone is "temporarily out of stock" and there is only a "notify me" function.

For me, it seems like a scam website, only set up to grab valid e-mail addresses.

I expressed my voice against these hat yai and deep south cheaper-than-possible phone ads in Craigslist before and yet somebody (perhaps this dude, casualbiker) defended them like a lawyer.

Some other guy says never trust thai online shops in another topic and this dude compares Paypal's protection with Thaipost COD unbeliveable :)

Even if they didn't put a brick in box, lets say they put a replica in box and you signed everything after cash on delivery, what then?

Well.. that wasn't like it last month. Maybe they are just busy.. I have never ordered from them but do follow their Facebook etc.. I have also never seen hatyai 4g on Craigslist. Are the prices really cheaper than possible .. dunno I'm just a Dude. But I'm older than 12 year old muratremix.

As for an email snatch website just use a new email address .. it seems to be a lot of work on the website design for that. But any way upto you .. if you think its ok. Good. If you think it's a con then some proof would be good. It could be a real decent phone sales company.

PS : if I got cash on delivery. I would be opening the package in front of the delivery guy and checking the item.

Prove to me you can open box before pay anything. It doesn't work that way. Besides, what if box inside box? Or some replica phone inside box? You'll ask postman to wait 10 minutes while you test ingeniuity? You think you're smart but you're not.

My oneplus one arrived in 5 days from China and playing with it. It's great but since you bombared my topic, I'm no longer interested in sharing my first opinions / photo samples in this topic. Perhaps I start another one.

Why don't you say you bought stuff from hatyai4g via COD and they were trustworthy seller (atleast a year ago) instead of trolling my topic?

Oneplus one is like:

Great camera (will provide samples later). Front camera also very good (5mpx)

4k 30fps and 24 fps video recording works flawlessly

Stereo speakers very loud, you can't miss a call with this loudspeaker

Wifi speed on 2.4 ghz is very good, 5ghz is bad (Router is upstairs, but 5ghz did not made a difference even near router)

Screen is very bright, viewing angles are great. Screen looks very very black, like piano black when it is turned off. I think they put some coating similar to Sony's clear black or something.

CM11s OS Camera app is awesome. There are so many options to change, more importantly how to set up exposure (Frame Average, Center Weighted Spot metering, Spot metering)

Build quality looks great, it gives premium sense (unlike sammy plastic toys)

Antutu score is 39K

GPS works very good with A-GPS (Wifi / GPS chip) inside my home near wall. As expected, it works great outdoors too.

    I bought from China, not from Oneplus directly as you stated they don't ship to Thailand and you can't walk in and buy one (needs invite)

    So it costs more than official price but still cheap enough.

    Total cost was almost 13,000 baht and I just sold it to somebody in order to buy more expensive 64gb model.
