How long does Thailand lag in bringing the latest versions?

Featured Replies

The Kia Sorento is due to launch an all new model in the 4th quarter of this year. The Kia Soul has launched an all new model this year; as has Subaru Forester. The VW mk7 was launched a while ago. All these are available in their older versions in this country. Does anyone have hard info on when the new versions I mentioned will be available here?

I thought the Forrester was the newer version, but I may be wrong. Would not make sense as it is imported for them to keep the old production line going

Never understood why Kia or Hyundai aren't more popular in Thailand, they make very good cars these days. Had a Hyundai Getz (Twice car of the year) in Australia for 5 years and never had one problem with it.

Isn't the Forester a Subaru?

The new Forester will be out later this year in America, and I was wondering when that would get here.

All the cars I mentioned are imports, i.e. none has assembly lines in Thailand. So the only issue would be to clear stocks - but that's a normal issue.

And the latest xt diesel too? I shall check. Thanks for the response.

well they do not always bring the diesels to the Thai market but I do not think that is a "lag" issue rather an assessment of what the Thai market wants
