Aviation scrapyards

Can anyone help me?I am looking for scrapyards that deal in ex military (or civilian) aircraft .I am sourcing parts from vintage aircraft..I know the one just south of Pattaya .

Other than that the nearest I know of is in Arizona.........

If you are interested, I have a friend who is into researching the Vietnam war in a big way. He's done a lot of research about the air campaigns, etc. Including what was going on here in Thailand. Maybe he could help? If you want, let me know by PM and I'll copy him in on the conversation.

Also, have you stopped by the small airfield by the Phoenix golf course? Quite a few farang there that might be able to help.

I know there were a couple of old Dakotas up near the Ambassador Jomtien and a few more on the old Chonburi bypass down near Laem Chabang. Maybe you should take a drive to U-Tapao.
