I'm doing a trip through Thailand starting with flying into BKK from UK end July. Will take the visa exempt stamp as I travel into Laos before 30 days. I have only a few (2 or 3) visa exempt stamps from last 2 years. I have never done a one day visa run and not likely to!. Does anyone think there will be a problem when I come back from Laos after say 2 weeks and try to obtain another visa exempt stamp? I have a current visa from Cambodia (where I will be going in again less than 30 days) in my passport and a flight out of BKK ticket for Feb. A single entry tourist visa or transit visa could be ok if there were foreseeable probs, but I'm thinking, why waste money for something I may not need to buy. If they did actually stamp an in - out into my passport, what is the time frame before you can come through again as I need to go through LOS to fly home after few months in Cambodia?

I see no problem for you to enter Thailand with all three entries you plan, only a potential risk that the airline may not let you board in the UK without a ticket out of Thailand within 30 days from arrival of your flight.

You trips will not fit the out/in profile since you will not be staying for 30 days every trip. You will not have a problem with your plans.

Thanks for the replies, hopefully I won't be labeled the same as some who abuse the system!

. I did post this a little after I wrote it. So now arrived into LOS I can confirm I had no problems at the UK end or here (flying from BHX with emirates) even though my return flight is not until Feb. rolleyes.gif

Checked in online and no questions. I had even changed the debit card I had booked the flight with but kept it rather than cutting it up (as the bank tells you to) but this time not asked to show card I booked flight with. This caused me problems 2 years ago when I had destroyed my old card and had to get Emirates staff to speak to my bank on the phone.
