Water Parks

Featured Replies

I'm planning to take a road trip with the kids and I've promised them we'll visit a few water parks along the way.

I'd be grateful if you guys could let me know of any decent water-parks around the country. I've tried Google, but it brings up very few, and some of those little more than a pool with some slides.

All recommendations appreciated.

This is in Kuala lumpur, a huge waterpark, 2 attractionparks, a zoo, a supermall connected to it, much bette and bigger as paragon, a huge hotel connected, loads of great restaurants in the mall, skytrain.....

I have never been to a thai waterpark and would rather save more money and go to malaysia. The day entrance for all the parks together was something like 1000 baht or so. You won't forget this one.

The Mall Bang Kapi has fun, clean & cheap water park on its roof. My 4 yr old and I love the place.

It's also never crowded.

There are 2 or 3 under construction. The one south of Pattaya should be open in a few months. I also saw one in Hua Hin, but don't think it's open yet either.

There is a big one in Pattaya, but I don't know anything about it. Our friends take their kids to Centara hotel here every year. It's got a pretty large pool with slides, etc. Quite nice.

big one opening soon just as you leave hua hin

Korat Zoo has a god one a and nice little bungalows to stay in for the night.

Khon Kaen Zoo also has one but not as good IMO. Kao suan gwang เขาสวนกวาง

A large one is being built also i central Khon Kaen, maybe it is finished already.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys ... keep 'em coming.

I've heard of several around Pattaya/Hua Hin, but I'm ideally looking for ones north (or northeast) of BKK (along my drive South). The new one in Khon Kaen is called Dino-world, but looks like it won't be open for a while.

The big one being built by the Cartoon Channel ,just outside Pattaya is to have a soft opening on the 31 st of this month .There is another one in Pattaya itself called Pattaya Park ,with some big slides and a chep entrance price of B100.

We were at one 15 km inland from HuaHin called Black Mountain .It had just opened about 2 years ago .

Heard there is another water park near Chan Am .

Do a search for Siam Park City in the NE of Bkk.

There's a new one east of udon thani on 22, should be ready by now.

there is a good one in Phuket, it is a hotel and water park combined, we had a ball there last year on the water slides etc. I know it is not too far from the airport as I arrived at night and my wife drove me there and it wasnt a real long drive. Will have to ask her the name of it and post it.

How are Santorini and Black Mountain, any good?

Black Mountain was really good, but you pretty much need your own car to get there. It's quite a distance from town and I didn't see a line of taxis/tuk Tues waiting to take people home.

Thanks.

I'm thinking of going away for a week, maybe 1 day Santorini, 1 day Black Mountain, 2 days Kuiburi national park and home to Phuket again.
