Pattaya Police Set Up Strict Checkpoint

PATTAYA – July 25, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News], at 5.00 a.m., Pol.Capt. Somchai Chaikhananukul (Deputy Inspector of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province) mobilized police forces to set up a checkpoint in order to maintain peace and deter crimes half way down of Soi Kor Phai, south Pattaya, to inspect every passing vehicle.

The inspection was in operation from 12.00 a.m. – 5.00 a.m. During the operation the officers arrested 4 young men and women, aged between 25-30 who failed a drug urine test.. The police then confiscated their motorbikes.

Police set up "Strict" checkpoint.

Does that mean other checkpoints are "Non-Strict" ??

I want some of the drugs they are on

5 hours...4 minor drugs arrests...big whoop!

You are so right. What did they do, save maybe only 2 - 20 lives by getting these people off the road? Ridiculous. Let them drive drunk, or high on drugs. I understand your point entirely.
