This story appeared on news.bbc.co.uk on June 20th

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/8154497.stm

and it has since climbed to te 3rd most shared story on BBC News.

It is scary to read "Now new allegations have been made that a number of passengers are being detained every month in the duty free area on suspicion of shoplifting, and then held by the police until they pay large sums of money to buy their freedom." Is this stuff still going after the NCPO took over the government? I am afraid to visit Thailand again.

Is there is specific forum dedicated to this issue on Thaivisa.com?
