The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) says it will amend the law to make imports of volatile alkyl nitrite, a base substance of the drug, legal only with permission from authorities, said Cpt. Yongyuth Mailarp, an NCPO spokesperson. "The measure is to set regulate and control this category of volatile substance, because it is a component of the drugs to intoxicate women," Cpt. Yongyuth said. According to Cpt. Yongyuth, the NCPO’s chairman, Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha, is also concerned about widespread practice of smoking shisha. "Baragu contains tar and nicotine," the spokesperson explained, using a Thai term for shisha. The NCPO is looking into measures to regulate the substance, Cpt. Yongyuth said. Alcohol causes somewhere around 4.8 million percent more sex crimes than all other drugs combined. I had expected the last coup leader who was a muslim to go down this road, instead he disappeared up a warm dark passage and has not been seen for years. smileplur Posted July 30, 2014 Share Posted July 30, 2014 I didn't think GHB was the primary date-rape drug. My understanding is that Rohypnol is the most commonly used one. Ambien has also been used more recently. I am pretty sure it is hard to get your hands on Rohypnol (aka: Rufies - sp?). I know I can (and do) buy Ambien from time to time to sleep. The first they want to regulate the import the ingredients to try and make sure they're used for a legitimate purpose rather than a vicious crime, the second they want to categories as tobacco and tax. Very different Bit concerned the big J are starting to lose focus. Seemingly good intentions, but how are they really going to follow through on everything they've started. It's the way Juntas tend to go. Initially good because they are decisive and right the obvious wrongs that everyone agrees on (think payment of rice farmers), but then they try and do too much and have to tackle problems where the solution is far less clear. Slowly things lose focus and momentum. And that's when people start to ask for democracy back. I'm not being critical, just pointing out a theoretical risk to trying to do to much. From the picture it looks as if the whole lot of them have sampled the "E". I wonder if they went on somewhere to party after. Yet another tame ladyboy friend (I have quite a few) recently told me please not to visit to his "estate from hell" in Bangkok, as firstly the police, from very high ranking level, ran an illegal casino there and didn't like falang strangers just turning up; and furthermore, he reckoned that there was at least one "Ice" factory on the complex in order to directly supply the needs of the residents. Anyone who has seen Breaking Bad will appreciate the dangers of explosion, toxic chemical handling and toxic waste from watching that. Better "I come to you" was his advice. I reckon the Junta will will have a long hard fight if it wants to improve society in general. Maybe they should just forget about "poppers".
