Featured Replies

i am just coming up to 60 and I want to marry a thai girl and move to thai,i expect to be in thai most of the time but will visit home [England] once a year,I have an income of 160 pounds a week,I can increase this by 100 more if i rent out my house.,,,,,,question is what is the best or only way to get a visa for to suit this perpose.what is best and what is the options,,,simple answers please as i know nothing yet of how it works.thankyou all that reply,,,

1. Non immigrant O-A visa obtained in UK. Proof of 800k (baht equivalent) in UK bank, medical, police report and visa fee. You receive a stamp for one year upon entry and a year later have the option of using 800k in a Thai bank account or 65k per month pension/income or a combination to continue one year stays.

2. Non immigrant or tourist visa to arrive here. Marry. Change to non immigrant O and extend with 400k in Thai bank account for support Thai wife extensions of stay. Do each year. Both you and wife have to appear each year for application and takes two trips or more.

3. Non immigrant or tourist visa to arrive here. Change to non immigrant O and extend with 800k in Thai bank account (or 65k pension) and do each year. One trip to immigration required for this type each year.

4. Three million baht investment visa (money in account or qualifying condo purchase) and extended each year.

5. Other options require exit/entry of another country and return at 30 or 90 day intervals and most used by those without the financial means to qualify for above.
