When I was in Thailand a couple of weeks ago I purchased a Thai Sim card. Am back in UK now but am going out again in November and want to give my Thai number to some mates as they are going to Thailand in December but I remember reading somewhere that all Thai phone numbers are going to have a prefix added to them, any one have info on the changes ?

You have to add a 8 to the number from Sep 1, 2006.

Example:

Old number: 01-7676767

New number: 081-7676767
