Home Invasion In Thanyaburi

Featured Replies

Quick summary of a crime involving some farang victims.

Thai Rath has a picture of a German mother and her two children on the cover. They live in MP1 Garden Home Thanyaburi. Three Thai men and a woman entered their house, assaulted and tied them up and then raped the daughter. A Thai maid was also present. Someone recognized one of the men as a bodyguard of the husband who was not present. The criminals, or at least one of them, spoke English and German! Turns out the husband rarely lives at the home as he travels on unspecified business, and has hired 3-4 bodyguards. Despite items being stolen the police think that it may be related to some kind of dispute involving the bodyguards, and noted that the maid has not been paid for some months.

I hope everyone is OK. These are particularly nasty crimes.

Not much sympathy for the shady jet set?

IMO this is certainly a more despicable crime than the killing of that Dubie cult guy in Chiang Mai.

:o

Do not even trust or rely on the guard that is looking after your property. Some of this guard is the bigger culprit that works hand in hand with the burglar; instead of guarding your property, they are searching for target to break-in to steal your valuable things and even threatening your lives if are in.

I am appalled and disgusted at the insensitive publication of the victim's picture in the Thai newspapers. This poor child has suffered enormously and surely such thoughtless publication of her picture will only further anguish her. I am disgusted at the standards of journalism in Thailand. Does Thailand have no concept of privacy?
