Are Chickens Smarter Than Dogs?

Some sleep on the very edge, others siesta well into the lane. Some sunbathe on back roads, others snooze on busy thoroughfares. Some even slumber on blind curves. Yesterday, another sun basking, cat napping soi mutt got smacked flat. I’ve lost count now; approaching a dozen in the last three years on a one kilometer stretch. It’s not like there aren’t safer locales to get forty winks.

 

We all know why chickens cross the road, but why do Thai dogs sleep in it?
