Anyway mr op - don't jet the door hot u on the way out. U have made a enough reasons for u to leave. Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand Man, stop the Russian/non Russian war. Thailand does not care about the Tourism industry anymore. It represents less than 1% of the GDP, We are no wanted anymore, Russians or not. chiang mai
1 mil a year isn't "money", that's only 2700 a day. Local Thai's who exist happily on 300 Baht a day would disagree, they will say that 2,700 a day is serious money, maybe you're in the wrong country. nikkoid66
Anyway my point was that there is a missing Visa in Thailand, the equivalent of the "Exceptional Ability" Visa in the USA. People who are successful in business, or have done something out of the ordinary should be able to come here to bring their brain and experience in this country (their money too). But something that is not only based on old retired falang or people who are running a local business. Do you feel that you would qualify for a USA National Interest Waiver? I have stayed 4 years in Miami under a O-1 visa so I guess and can answer yes!

yoslim
Thailand Elite is complete crap: 100,000 a year vs 2000 for retirement visa tourist visa vs non-imm which means 1 year driving licence. seriously you pay 50 times more money and you have to deal renewing your driving licence every year zero guarantee of what might happen to your visa if there is more political turmoil I couldn't help but feel like a mug buying the card

Popular Post DP25
Thailand doesn't want young foreigners with money, because some people would slip through the cracks and work illegally as English teachers or tour guides in their native European language or some other similar job that most Thai people are 100% qualified to do if not for these dastardly foreigners. They prefer lots of elderly Pattaya sexpats on retirement visas instead. That is how you maintain a positive image in the eyes of the world.
