Popular Post Local Drunk
Please forget that I'm the "Mastermind" behind the PTP. Please forget who sent you the funds to stage violent protests. Please forget that I used you like muppets to achieve my own goals. And please, please, please... Forget that I used my sister like a tool because I'm about to do the same with my grandchildren to get bit of public sympathy!
Popular Post rubl
Interesting. "Thaksin orders Pheu Thai", well we already knew that even if some still bleat on about tangible evidence. "Thaksin orders UDD leaders", again we already knew that, but again to be denied by others. Definitively a state of democracy we should go back to, having a criminal fugitive ordering things. Mind you, the spin is good. "Thaksin order to forgive and forget" and all praise him, while in the same breath condemning the NCPO for their 'happiness program'. Anyway, were there any legal lawsuits which had valid, legal grounds? BTW does this mean we in Bangkok will have our governor back again?

Due to the timing of the announcement now this is probably part of a larger coordinated plan with the greens. Everyone can hope this is a move towards reconciliation. Win win.

Yeah right!!! the day after he was all but named as paymaster for about 30 deaths. Too little, too late, Mate. Not that I think he really meant it anyway.
Popular Post Christie Paul
Thaksin knows very well in which direction the economy is headed. He eagerly waits for the day when people will say "remember the good old days, when Thaksin was in charge?" Unless the regime can come up with something other than "crackdowns", such as a sound economic strategy to avoid economic ruin, Thaksin will have his wish.

I suspect Mr. T. has more reliable sources of information. Yesterday's news was also drivel pumped out by the media for public consumption.

Popular Post kimamey
Didn't he do this before at the beginning of the year? Maybe he's worried about the Abhisit, Suthep murder case and the fact it will be obvious that he planned to blame those two whilst protecting those who fired the shots. Could be difficult for some redshirt leaders as well who demanded justice for those killed but did nothing to stop the government covering it up. I may be just cynical but it looks like a PR exercise to me but like much of what he does not very convincing.
ginjag
Not a lot to defend here is there, now everything is so out and open for eyes to see, Thaksin never dreamed he would get so much bad publicity, as he controlled it before , and now that's gone. I am amazed we don't have any of the TVF splinter group on this topic as they hog the military related ones. Suicide is not the way out Thaksin, it could even come to that.

FangFerang
Well, the red shirt leaders are obviously inept, three stooges soldiers, maybe they could better serve their country as diplomats. I hope the yellow shirt leader and creator, convicted on similar charges as Thaksin and given a much longer prison sentence, can follow suit and drop all the lawsuits....but probably not--the kangaroos in lower courts are on his side. Following Thai politics is hilarious. We have two groups of lying clowns, each packed into a mini cooper color of their choice, accusing the other group of being lying clowns as they pass each other on Sukhimvit and then (separately) run over the red bull heir and claim the other group did it first. Amazing Tiedland. I like the good General a lot more than any leader either group has ever fielded.

Popular Post The Deerhunter
Is anyone still claiming that he is NOT the mastermind behind ALL the problems here and running the country illegally from abroad? Yes, of course. All the usual suspects. Career PTP/UDD/Thaksin apologists & denyers, the lot of them. But a bit more cautious now. Some of them may be justifiably nervous now that the "overseas payment" financial records are surfacing and some may well have been paid trolls as we suspect. (Is this working)??? However, they are all masquerading as Democracy ADVOCATES now, because it is illegal to be Democracy ACTIVISTS anymore. "Respect my terror bombing" didn't work but every time you hear ":Respect my vote" remember who is doing the talking.

Where Mr. Shin faltered was in thinking that he could intimidate the two without implicating the military. What the two should do is to say... I want my day in court.
Popular Post seajae
trying to score some brownie points now that they know he is the one that ordered them to attack the protesters, he is really stupid if he thinks this will stop them from chasing him for organizing the murders that were committed under his orders, what a truly self righteous ar**hole of a man

Let's not forget, YL is back here about to face charges... the softer Mr T. can make things and relations with the junta will work in her favour... I don't think it's anything to do with the pregnancy... I think he's trying to soften any potentially hard blows.
Popular Post Halion
Can not forgive but this country should forget that this despot ever existed. He and his ilk have brought nothing but disgrace and destruction to the Thai people for their own personal gains. The Shins have been a malignant cancer devoid of character and responsibility and have little or no empathy with either the country or the citizens. Obsessed by only their own stature and wealth they have continually raped this nation for over a decade and deserve to receive the contempt for the damage they have caused.
