British Man Found Dead In Pattaya

PATTAYA – August 23, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News];- at 03.00 am Pol.Lt.Kwanchai Numkanisorn-investigation inspector- was notified that a foreigner was dead in the Spanish Place Pattaya condominium on the 6th floor. After notification the police officers, doctors from Bang Lamung hospital and Sawang Borriboon rescue team rushed to the scene.

At the scene the officers found a room with was covered in blood stains and the body of Mr Jason William Flannery aged 25 from England. The body was naked and on the floor in the middle of the room. The body had been stabbed in mouth, cheek, chest and other places. There was also a syringe on a sofa and a cannabis roll-up cigarette.

Upon questioning Ms.Janjira Buapae aged 23 the deceased’s girlfriend she claimed that they had been in a close relationship for year. After she finished work she went back to his room and found him in a serious discussion with his friend and Thai girlfriend. Later Mr Jason mixed some cocaine with water and drank it before smoking a cannabis cigarette. After that Mr Jason tried to attack Ms.Janjira.

Your warning is a bit over the top.

The video apparently shows Jason Flannery DOB 5 March 1989, born in Northallerton according to his passport dead on the floor.

Condolences to this guy's family. What a terrible wasted life.

But losing your life because of drug taking and drug crazed peers - no thanks !

A friend of mine got attacked by a Thai man with a broken bottle this week on Pratumnak Soi 5. He lucky survived the attack. Police and Hospital took photos of him. Yesterday, he told me, that the same crazy guy attacked another foreigner for no reason. The culprit is a "drug addicted", identified by cctv-footage. Still at large....

Both storys wasn't in the news. So i guess, we only see a portion of such incidents in the news.

Briton Dies After 'Cocaine-Fueled Argument' in Pattaya

CHONBURI — A British man died early this morning after going on a cocaine-fueled rampage at a condominium in Chonburi province, his girlfriend says.

Police responded to emergency calls at the condominium in Banglamung district at 3 am today and found the 25-year-old British man’s dead body in his room. Police said the body had many cutting wounds on his face and chest.

Khaosod English is withholding the name of the deceased until it is confirmed that his relatives have been informed.

Janjira, 23, who says she had been dating the Briton for over a year, told police she found him with another Britisish man and his Thai girlfriend in their condominum room when she returned from work last night. The group was talking to each other in a stressful manner, Ms. Janjira said.

After doing cocaine and marijuana, the Briton suddenly lost his temper and attacked his girlfriend violently, Ms. Janjira said. At that point, the other Briton and his girlfriend left the room in terror.

Ms. Janjira said she fought with her boyfriend and decided to flee the room. The Briton reportedly followed her and drew a crowd of onlookers in the hallway. Ms. Janjira claimed her boyfriend became frightened by the crowd, ran back into his room, and hit a glass door inside his room. He fell down and died soon afterwards, Ms. Janjira told police.

A search inside the Briton's room turned up a syringe and a joint of marijuna, police say.

Police say they are investigating the incident. Ms. Janjira has not been charged with any crimes.

On the Thairath and the Manager news sites, his 28 year-old girlfriend of 1 year, MIss Janjira Buapae, a foreign language teacher, says after he went crazy and attacked her, neighbours heard the commotion and called the police.
When the police arrived, he became even more out of control, dragging her back into the room by her hair from the corridor, after which he apparently slipped over and landed on some glass fragments from a broken sliding glass door and died.
Hard to believe story. Beating her up like that in public (if true) can't have endeared him to the Thai police and onlookers before he died...

don't know what to think as news stories in Thailand are mostly unreliable, but in saying that if the accusations about drugs are true then this was going to be a very dysfunctional situation regardless, it could be that she stabbed him or whatever it really makes no difference - this was hardly a model household

Anybody who uses Cocaine does not put it in water and drink it, why? Why would you waste it like that and risk internal bleeding?

Fell into a glass door, the only way that would kill you is by severing a main artery, there was no where near enough blood for that to of happened.

Spanish condoe's says it all ,friend was going to rent there for 6 months and was warned that it was full of drug users ,dealers and unsavoury charectors ,he did not stay there. still its close to Mcdonalds

Once again the Thai Visa Bar Stool Crime Scene Investigators (BS-CSI) are on a roll blowing smoke fueled by some incoherent news accounts and the belief that farang only die at the hands of nefarious agents of destruction here in Thailand and never due to their own stupidity or emotional instability. I don't know why the police bother going to the scene. They could just wait to read the TV analysis of events and mark the case closed.

It's hard to imagine how Farang Land is coping with all this expertise draining away to take up residence in Thailand.

Bad behavior with that mix is why bad news like this is so common. Young brit might have been out of order.

Me thinks some one is telling some porkies, perhaps they should interview the door, might lead to an open and shut case.

Cocaine is 1 drug that normally mongs you and not sends you running into windows most people try to lick them.

What's not to believe.?.......the body has gone to be examined to find the real cause of death.

It says he fell to te ground after running into a glass door it does not say the cuts from that is what killed him.

No one mentioned suicide just the usual ignorant trolls who can't wait to throw there 1/2 satangs worth in and critisize.

If the Thai Police wanted to cover something up the press wouldn't get within a mile of the scene and you trolls on here wouldn't even know it happened.
