Hi, I have just arrived in Hanoi and my True move H SIM card is not picking up a network.

Does anybody have any ideas as to why this might be!?

First, did you activate roaming before you left Thailand? But it seems you have a technical issue, I assume, which leads me to say, I have a foggy memory of being in Vietnam and not being able to pick up a friendly local mobile network with an agreement with True (when I had True). Nothing you can do.

BTW, Viet mobile providers are cheap, way cheaper than Thai nets. Try VinaPhone, Viettel, MobiFone. Buy a SIM at a shop (no ID required) and go.
