An unusual and misguided topic IMO. There are serious issues facing the country, as he said on his numerous TV addresses. This may have been a lapse in judgement or on the advice of someone else.

You forgot the hero going temporarily blind after being hit over the head or grazed by a bullet which enables a trip to Europe to see a specialist. Unless it's a costume drama of course when the trip will be to a palace in Ayutthaya.

it seems 80% of society focuses on soap operas. of the other 20 % 19.8% dont watch cause they are not sober enough and the other 0.2% or less may represent those outside the box critical thinkers.

nothing personal but if i ever hooked up with a wife that watches that i'd question my own sanity.

These broadcasts are totally worthless!

I watched a few to get a feeling for it - usually the story is for most part the same in 80% of cases and totally daft.

They should bring some reality and intelligence into these stories and promote the values of education, honesty and work.

Good idea. Thailand is for the Thais. Thailand is not for the Cambodians. and it's not for people from Laos and Burma.

And whatever people say about Thailand and Japan during World War Two, it still holds true that Thailand was NEVER colonized or taken over by another country. Maybe, we as foreigners, will never understand the sense of pride that a man from South East Asia will have because of the nation never being colonized by "Europeans". How proud are the Vietnamese about winning the war against America ?

I really do think that most people want pride and dignity more than they want money and economic growth.

Anything would be better than staring at that garbage like mindless zombies........
