BANGKOK: -- Nobody knows where it’s from. Nobody knows how it got there. This is simply an inexplicable video of a single ostrich chasing the fast pace of humanity.

Facebook user Sukchi Kas posted a short clip of the bizarre event he encountered on the Teparak road on Wednesday. It’s just that, an ostrich on the loose in Samut Prakan’s Bang Phli district.

The user added he was on his way to a business meeting and was quite confused about what was happening.

It would be a safer alternative of transport than the Tuk-Tuk

I heard that many single men travel to Bangkok for chasing birds, is this what is all about w00t.gif .

What visa has he got?

How is he/she allowed to be in BKK without carrying his passport?

Means it is a Thai Ostrich...

If I see that, I stop at the next police station and ask for a drug test.....

I see they have started filming "Hangover 4"

I hope the military seize the bird for street walking offense, otherwise it will be corralled and shot and end up in a Thai restaurant in the soup pot.

Very Nutritious

Your attempts at humour are pathetic, you should all be ostrichsized from the forum!

At least it is following the right direction ...

Wonder if it stops at a red light ? If not , bye bye ...

Brings a new meaning to the term "Angry Birds"

It looks as though this was filmed by the car driver, probably on a mobile device. I trust the full force of the law will be used to locate and prosecute the offender for using a mobile device whilst driving.

Chalerm disguised himself again

That ostrich does indeed seem to be hurrying to a business meeting.

Not even wearing a helmet.

So no ( hostages ) were taken --no ransom.

Ho, hum....i see ostriches all the time in Thailand. The bury-its-head in the sand variety.
