I think I saw that big bird or a ladyboy/beetle dressed very similar in front of the kick boxing arena in Loi Kroh one night. biggrin.png

What visa has he got?

How is he/she allowed to be in BKK without carrying his passport?

The Thai word for Sparrow is "Nok Krajok", or small, meaningless bird.

The word for Ostrich is "Nok Krajok Thet", or foreign sparrow.

I wonder if this foreign sparrow has a Thai driving licence, which may work in lieu of a passport?

THAI Air is testing one of the new flightless planes.

It can't afford anything right now.

Lucky it didn't meet a Nok-Air B738, taxiing in the opposite direction ! laugh.png

Just out having a legendary time...

Not even wearing a helmet.

It wasn't on a motorbike.

Noticed it crossed lanes without signalling.

It has obviously taken and passed its Thai driving test then......................beep beep!

Haaaaa..is farang in a very good costume doing a restaurant marketing for an early bird deal....I hope its had a WP.

SO !!! This is where old man Emu retired to....biggrin.png

I wonder that you are all talking about that one bird.

I see them every day, the streets are full of them.

I just wonder where the cars and motorbikes come from

Have never seen cars in the streets of Bangkok, only the birds

Yes, I will take my medicine now

Meeep, meeep! thumbsup.gif

Obviously this bird is desperately trying to run away from the crackdown on street ostriches.

laugh.png Just goes to show that some TV members will write inappropriate comments about anything. Who cares about the topic as long as the comment is inapropriate rolleyes.gif

Frankly on this one, I'm laughing my head off reading the thread. Most of the comments are truly hilarious (and definitely appropriate).

video fails to show Bernie Clifton chasing after it, a 100yds back, yelling . . . 'come back Oswald, ya <deleted> !' . .w00t.gif

Roadrunner !! Yeah thumbsup.gif

edit... better copy.

At 18 sec. looks like someone is shooting at it, you can see the ricochet,

hit the white line.,or am i seeing things,i mean they would not be shooting

live bullets in the street, would they,i suppose anything is possible here.

I feel sorry for that big bird.

It will most certainly end up as someones dinner somewhere in Bangkok, the whole soi will have a big party .

It looks as though this was filmed by the car driver, probably on a mobile device. I trust the full force of the law will be used to locate and prosecute the offender for using a mobile device whilst driving.

I guess you missed the new fashion of having a car cam. They are sold all over now at between 500 and 5000 thb. Welcome to the modern world!

There's a small farm in Bang khae

Not sure what would be funnier watching Granny trying to gently strangle it or watching her trying to stuff it in a pot!

Phad Ka Pow Nok Yai (Kai Dow) - yep, sign me up!

I've often wondered why some enterprising person hasn't tried raining these birds commercially in Thailand. The eggs must make one heck of an omelette.

If I see that, I stop at the next police station and ask for a drug test.....

Don't bother - it could be a BiB!

An astute observation? What are you on? I gotta get some of it, then I can run along with the ostrich.

Very Nutritious

They are indeed - pity they are so expensive here.
