GPS for motorcycle

Featured Replies

When can I purchase GPS security device for motorcycle in Chiangmai. I'm not interested in navigation only for security only.

When or where? If the latter, you'd probably have more luck in either the Chiang Mai or the motorcycle sub forum.

Moved to CM Forum.

you need a GPS tracker, 1000 thb online or at TUKOM pattaya. They all are the same, TK102 XEXUN is the most famous one. Works GPRS or SMS.

How can a GPS tracker offer security for a motorcycle? If thief has half a brain would simply toss the GPS tracker into the nearest river and ride away on the cycle. But i maybe missing some part of this puzzle.

Eg. tracker is so small thief never sees/finds it. or, tracker disguised as functional part of bike, or, all local thieves do not have even half a brain. Other choices possible.

^^^

But this is Thailand where the common thief does not have half a brain and a moderately well hidden tracker could go undetected long enough to track the stolen motorcycle down and notify the BIB's to nab the culprits...

It's usually pretty small, can be hidden and it won't be visible. Also as the other poster stated, thieves here don't have much brain.

A bit far to go from Chiang Mai isn't it? lol

Try this place on Mahidol Rd, best in CM.
