As the topic suggests I have noticed for the last week or 2 after pressing the like button on peoples photos it registers as a like.

I look again the day after and it has been cancelled.

Are the higher beings interfering to make us run out of likes quicker by pressing like again or is it a forum bug?

I have also noticed people like a photo I have posted and the next day it is gone, maybe they thought no I was drunk last night I will unlike that, which is possible.

Can any higher beings shed some light on this in this troll free photography sub forum?

Beings up to including the heady heights of Global Modship don't have the facility to remove likes other than their own, no idea about Admin, but I doubt it.

It's possibly a forum bug, but nobody else has reported it.

Let's try this in Forum Support for a wider audience.

When you click on post-21260-0-64054800-1410729911.png in a post, this button changes to post-21260-0-49407100-1410729912.png . Only you can undo your own Like by clicking on Unlike. This is obviously how another member's Like of a post of yours appears and disappears.

Could it be (with a pathetically slow connection like mine) that one clicks "Like" and when there is no reasonably immediate response, one clicks a second time, thus cancelling the original "Like"?

Maybe this does not fully answer your question, in which case, I apologise. (Blame the vino collapso).

That's a possibility I hadn't thought of Rob, it happened again today with shags butterfly photo.

I'm on superfast internet and a high performance computer, maybe it's the TV server side that is slow to register the like.

I think you may have solved the riddle, I will be a bit more patient in future.
