Cheap hostel or guesthouse near DMK?

Featured Replies

Is there any cheap (<$10) hostel or guesthouse near DMK airport? I saw We-Train Guesthouse mentioned in some places, but their website doesn't work. Anything else?

I can't help with a cheap guesthouse near Don Muang, but I thought We Train was near the train station. It'd be closer to go find a flop house on KSR than go to Hualamphong. I may be mistaken and have ,y names mixed up though.

Sasakawa Wetrain . . . that was the very first place i laid my head down, on my very first day/night in Thailand over 10 years ago. Pretty darn close to DMK as i remember, & probably why we chose it before we drove to Khao Yai the next morn, but what i do know for sure (it's in my diary) is that 650baht was paid for the one night spent there. Up or down in price now? or still operating? don't know.

I stand corrected. I knew something didn't feel right when I was posting before bed last night. I was thinking of Train-Inn rather than We-Train. Yes, wetrain used to be a close option to Don Muang. I am not sure if it still exists or not. I will try to ask a friend who lives in that area at work today if I remember to do so!

Bangkok Resort. 400B per night..but nothing! Need taxis.
