I have a triple entry tourist visa so does that mean I can get an extension on all 3 entries?

Anyone have any links or info on the protocol of extending. My first will be in Chiang Mai, and I have a link for that. But what about attire to wear? As well as when is the correct period to extend? Like I can't just enter and extend straight away right?

Also, when I first arrive in BKK (I then fly to Chiang Mai) I know I am supposed to have a departure card on arrival right? What is the relevance of this and any other info I need for when I first arrive (I have passports docs and many photocopies of everything) Considering making copies of the Thai Visa page on my passport also, as well as the front cover.

Many thanks

You can apply for a 30 day extension for each entry of your visa. You just have to be sure you do your last entry before the enter before date on you visa which is 6 months from it's date of issue.

Casual dress is fine when applying for the extension.

You can apply for the extension during the last 30 days of your 60 day entry at most immigration offices. You loose nothing by doing them early because the the extension starts the end of the 60 days. You will just need your passport and copies of its photo page, visa, entry/permitted to stay stamp and your departure card. A completed TM7 application form with an attached 4cm X 6cm photo. Then pay the 1900 baht fee.

When you arrive you will complete a 2 part TM6 arrival/departure card. Be sure you put your visa number on the arrival part. The immigration officer will keep the arrival part of the card and stamp your entry on the departure part of it and staple it in your passport.
