I am sure saner heads will prevail and a no better together vote will prevail. The Scott's have a fair deal and

it would be a mistake to step into the abyss. Can they be an independent country, of course. Look at former Yugoslavia.

and all the failed states of Africa. Would they be better of? Highly, highly unlikely. Both sides would loose in a yes vote.

It's not important -- Westminster MP's have already started to talk about much more devolution for Scotland and even an English parliament ! thumbsup.gif

I would have thought that all it needs is the speaker kicks out the Scots and the Welsh MPs when talking and voting on English matters

think you have said this umpteen times. what is interesting now is whats the point of the SNP? Their very existence was for independence, they had the vote,lost so what now, another campaign for another referendum in 10, 20,30 years? Edited by kingalfred
