How many blank pages in passport are needed to gain a work visa (until 3 month extension & WP)

Recommended Posts

1. Does anyone know how many blank pages are needed to obtain a Non-B until getting the extension of stay for 3 month/1 year and work permit??

2. What would be min/max. pages when going to neighboring countries/Europe to get Non-B?

3. Is there on a WP an extension of stay on a 90-day-basis necessary in the passport?

4. Is extension for WP done in the booklet of the work permit (1 year)?

5. Is there also a 90 day report of the address necessary on WP or can it be done yearly/when changing flat?

1. one or two full pages depending if you go to a country that requires a visa. Plus space for all entry/exit stamps, say another page.

2. same as 1 minus EU stamps not done for Europeans.

3. WP does not go in passport

4. yes

5 all type of stays longer than 90- days must do reporting.

5) If you stay for more than 90 days and does NOT have permanent recency you always need to do 90 Days reports, If you change visa during the visit and does not leave the county you need to count 90 days as usual. New visa does NOT reset 90 day report unless you do a VISA run. It is a separate paper, does not use and space in WP or Passport, just need to keep with your passport. Usually they put it in your passport with a stapler.

My preferred way to report 90 days is with post, Unless happen to pass area where you can report it.

3. How long is the Non-B valid? Do I have to extend the Work Visa every 3 month/every year or just the work permit?

A single entry visa is on only valid for 3 months. A multiple entry visa is valid for one year.

An extension of stay (it is not a visa) for working is normally valid for one year along with a the work permit.

The Non-B visa expires after 3 month when entering the Kingdom. So, I would need (to apply and) get the work permit after entry, which is valid up to the date of Non-B visa. After 3 month, I go for extension of stay [Non-B] which would then be extended for 1 year, is that correct?

Because, I read that it might get extended only for 30 days for several times until the 1-year extension will be granted (same would apply for work permit, which has to be extended accordingly to permit of stay). How likely is that?
