Posted October 4, 2014 Share Posted October 4, 2014 (edited) If you read something about the conflict that was not on nutty Islamic hate-sites, you would know the 1995 Interim Agreement states that, "Neither side shall initiate or take any step that will change the status of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip pending the outcome of the Permanent Status negotiations.” The United States, European Union, the Russian Federation, Egypt and Norway are signatories to the Interim Agreement as witnesses. I don't know where you are from but a huge portion of the American population think the UN is a joke -- a bad joke... I am not saying the majority of Americans but a very large percentage - I would like to see a poll actually... But not only do we think the UN is a joke we want them to leave NY and set up permanent shop in Geneva and stay there. The absolutely absurd things the UN has done in the past 10-12 years could fill a book... In our opinion the UN is the antitheses of everything the U.S.A stands for - or should stand for... The UN in Gaza is complicit with Hamas in the storage and firing of rockets from those same UN facilities. Knowing you to be fairly literate, I can only assume you have used the word "complicit" properly. To say that the UN is complicit in firing rockets is quite a strong accusation.
