Key witness says foreigner kills British tourists

I'll have to be careful what I write. Most people on Koh Tao know who are responsible. They also know who took the main perpetrator of the island by private speedboat around sunrise. Media and UK reps were not allowed to witness DNA taking of certain suspects. But everyone on the island is too scared to talk. And who are you gonna talk to when the guy leading the investigation is a friend and partner of a certain local family in a mainland business venture? I think there will be quite some foreigners who are planning their departure from the island. And hopefully when one of these people is back safe in their home country the full story will come out.

The island people and police know what as happened on the beach from the first day. What is still being discussed is the circumstances exactly surrounding the initial beach meeting with Hannah and David. From what I have heard and no I cannot confirm this hypothesis but I believe that Hannah was being assaulted on the beach where the blood is first seen. David was with Sean - they had met up. The beach is very close to a c bar Sean and David started down to the beach on hearing the screams. Sean was threatened he ran. David was threatened but continued his way down to hannah despite the numbers being against him. The Thais saw it was Sean that was with David and had been threatening him ever since. The night he reported the threats was the crescendo it was not the first threat sean had received since that night. David absolutely lost his life fighting for Hannah's and was as noble as Sean said. The lack of clothing and the condom are anomalies.

This sounds the most feasible scenario mentioned so far by a million miles. Everything fits. Names would be good....

What doesnt sit well with me, is, why would Hannah's friends/friends, allow her to be out that late if they thought she was alone? Why wouldnt they go back together, unless the friends knew Hannah was already with, or leaving, with somebody else (likely David)

Yes this is my point. Hannah and David must have left together, they must have, and the theory that David stumbled upon the scene is wrong. Hannah's friends have said that David was 'smitten' with Hannah, according to another of Hannah's friends Lucy

One of the first images was taken at 1.51 am another at 3.44am and the last at 4.49am.

Ok so the picture of the guy wearing the dark shorts / trousers is at 1:51 am?

Yeh, even in the CCTV with David and Hannah there is no one walking around topless.

So it seems that:

This guy is seen on CCTV wearing dark shorts that fit his size at 1:51 am

Same guy ( I presume) seen on CCTV, running at 3:44 am, wearing light shorts, way to big for his size.

Also seen on CCTV in same light, too big shorts, at 4.49am

Theory; this guy was, one way or the other, involved in the murder and got blood all over his own shorts, so he took Davids shorts.

Sean has said he slept and therefore never caught up with David as intended. I imagine that with the type of lifestyle he was living though, he may just as well have woken after midnight and then headed out- he did admit to being on the beach playing guitar and singing. It seems like the kind of place where you could sleep into the evening because the bar action really gets going in the wee hours of the morning. So yes, both of Sean's statements could be true - slept that night and headed out in the very early hours.

Ok just going off the top of my head, One story of Sean's was he saw 2 guys trying to molest her at the bar and David stepped in.

Hours after the murders Sean posted: “My mate Dave lost his life on koh Tao. We were meant to meet up when we found out we were both there at the same time but I fell asleep.

“He was killed that night. I feel f****** terrible.

“I loved you so f****** much brother. I know you tried to save her.

“You are the most honourable guy I’ve ever met. I will miss you terribly.

“I’m sorry I didn’t come out with you that night. Really my heart is breaking.”

Yet another report had him hanging out a cuppla times with David since he had been there.

Of course there is him saying he was playing guitar on the beach near AC Bar so if that was true he probably would of caught up with Sean.

Yes. The details could be different. They may have been together (all 3 of them) or the 2 may have stumbled upon something untoward happening whilst looking for her. But overall that sounds by far the best fit yet. I'm not knocking someone for running away or running to help. Different folk react to danger in different ways.

Well the mystery is about David and why he was naked. That blood on the ground is David's, so if he was still fully clothed then his top would of been damaged / extremely blooded, and his white shorts as well.

After 18 months Sean knew who was in charge. Sean owed them everything - a job a home allowing him to stay without a work permit. David only knew what was right, by the sounds of it and no restrictions were on him in terms of choices.

Sean heading straight to Europe is a result of his fear and his facing his own choices No no one can blame the bloke But ultimately his friends who had tolerated him for 18 months treated him just like the foreigner he always was.

Seen it happen a lot here to be frank - that turn - just when a person thinks he s best buddies with his Thai friends.

This contradicts all the news reports and the evidence from Hannah's friend who was with her in the AC bar that Hannah and David left together. It even contradicts McAnnas own FB post that he didn't see David that night. Will you guys stop dredging up fantasies that try to make McAnna into some sort of Saint. If he had credible evidence he would have told the British press by now. He's not been shy about making himself part of the story so far.

Maybe Sean talked to the person who witnessed the murder or maybe Sean witnessed it and returned after the murders holding Davids head, then ran back to his room with his guitar, his clothes stained with David's blood.

22 years ago, I took one of the famous omelettes once down there with 2 female backpackers in their early 20s who had never taken them before. They stated wandering onto the beach, into the sea and taking their clothes off.

I have another scenario. Hannah walks home escorted by a gang of footballers who had celebrated in AC bar earlier. They gang raped her and David whilst on his way back to the hotel heard the screaming went to help and got bashed on the head with the hoe. They continue to rape Hannah then one of them smashes the hoe through her head and shocked they all run back to their hotels. Maybe Mon is the witness and that's how he got mixed up in this.
