Hi everyone,

I'm getting a work permit soon and I was thinking of doing the paperwork over in Cambodia.

Is this a multiple day process? Is there a train will take me there from Bangkok? Also, is it best to go through a travel agent?

Anything I should know beforehand? I should probably have 2000 in Baht right?

You will not get a work permit for Thailand in Cambodia. That has to applied for at the Labor Ministry here.

Or are you confusing getting a non-b visa with a work permit.

First your employer needs to apply for your work permit at the Labor Ministry,

Then when you have a approval letter for the work permit application you go to a embassy or consulate and apply for a non-b visa.
