Why is "My Ebay" now showing everything in Thai Baht?

I have the link to My Ebay saved in favourites, whenever I click on the link it brings up My Summary page where any items I'm bidding on or looking at are saved. Previously all the item prices were in US dollars but now they are all in Thai Baht and I can't see anywhere to change it back. Any advice?

Believe they may key to PayPal now on US site. UK site still has pound price for me.

The PayPal link has also disappeared from My Summary page.

While looking at the page of objects you searched for , on the right hand side near the top there is " sort "and " view " buttons , hit view then customize , then uncheck box " convert to Thai Baht "

The box is already unchecked for Thai Baht. All the items searched are in US dollars, but if I save an item to My Watched list (Summary) it shows the prices in Thai Baht. There also used to be a link to PayPal on the left hand side of the page, but that has disappeared as well.

Same thing is happening to me on the Summary and Purchase pages whether I'm logged onto ebay.com via a Thai IP addresses or my US. VPN IP address. But if I click on and view an individual item the item displays USD. When using the customize box like NE1 recommends above it only changes the item you are looking at at the time (I've used this frequently)...in my case at least it has not impact on pages like Summary and Purchase...at least in my case. I noticed this currency displayed thing changed at least a few weeks ago, but since my individual items could continue to be set (customized) to display in USD I didn't worry about it. Plus on the Summary and Purchase pages when I hovered my mouse pointer over the little flag next to the price being displayed in baht the USD price would also appear...but move the point away the USD pop up window disappears.

I still looking for some setting that may change the currency displayed in the pages like Summary and Purchase but haven't found anything yet. I have a U.S. Ebay/PayPal account, but whether I log on via a Thai IP address or U.S. IP address certain pages are reflecting Thai baht.

Maybe Ebay has determined the great, great majority of my Ebay logons are from Thailand and automatically changed some setting for the Summary and Purchase type pages to default to Thai baht...and maybe there no way to change it now. I thought logging on via a U.S. IP address would have cause the Summary and Purchase pages to display in USD...but no, that didn't work. I'm still looking...next I'm going to see if there are any Ebay cookies on my 'puter, delete those cookies and see what happens.

Edit: nope, deleting Ebay and PayPal related cookies (there were around a half dozen or so) didn't help...and I logged on via my U.S. VPN IP address right after deleting the cookies. Oh well.

My Thai based Ebay account is in English today as it always has been and in Thai Baht as usual...

I have NEVER had it in Thai language , either looking at it from a Thai IP or a USA IP

and just to ADD : it does show shipping to Thailand , logging in from anywhere

Couple things to try as this happend to me in the past. Clear your cookies then login to ebay. Search for something then change the sort to lowest-priced to with shipping. Make sure it say usa and us zipcode. This should give you usa pricing but when you look at shipping to Thailand ebays gonna try and revert to baht.

The OP is not talking about what "language" setting is being displayed...he's talking about what "currency" is being displayed by default on some pages. That is, THB being displayed instead of USD in some of the Ebay pages like the Summary page. Same thing happening to me...before the Summary and Purchase pages use to display USD. My individual item pages still reflect USD with THB in fine print next to the USD amount, but on the Summary and Purchase page it's reversed...THB is displayed and to see USD you need to hover your mouse over a little flag next to the THB amount.

If I click on "all lists" instead "watch list" it displays the amount in US dollars, but I have no idea why the PayPal select option has disappeared from the list on the left hand side of the page.

Use www.ebay.com.sg and sign in there.

You'll see prices in Singapore dollars when you look at a page full of search results, but if you click on an item, the price shows in US$. At least mine does, and my purchase record and bids show in US$.

On the summary page, near top center there's an "account" tab. The drop down has a PayPal link.

When I log into above website and go to the Summary and Purchase pages they list prices in USD first and Singapore dollars below the USD amont. Now logoff, go to www.ebay.com which I have always used, log-on, the Summary page reflects THB only with a little flag next to it, hover my mouse over the flag and it shows USD also...this happens whether I log-on from a Thai IP address or U.S. VPN IP address. Up until recently I didn't have this issue and I have been using my U.S. established Ebay account in Thailand for a half dozen years now. Now when viewing an individual item on either site it shows in USD. Well, it's not a big thing...just not showing the money amounts the way I would prefer it.

I'm beginning to think Ebay sets your Summary and Purchase default currency automatically maybe based on the majority of your logon based on IP address....and I have rarely used my U.S. VPN IP address when logging onto Ebay....so the logon IP address Ebay sees from my at least 95% of the time is a Thailand IP address. If I can remember, maybe I'll try just logging onto Ebay via my U.S. VPN IP address for the next ten times or so and see what happens...see if the currency displayed on the Summary and Purchase pages reverts back to USD after X-logons from a U.S. IP address.

I'm kinda curious about this issue and today I tried logging onto Ebay.com via my Samsung S4 using my DTAC 3G connection....and whether I connect to the mobile or desktop display Ebay website my Summary pages reflect USD only.

So I started thinking even more it's a IP related issue. Then turn the Hotspot function on in my S4 and let my laptop make a connection to the internet via DTAC vs True. Well, that didn't make a difference on my laptop as my Summary page still reflects THB. This would make one think then it's some setting/cookie on my laptop...but my settings have not been changed by me and I've reconfirmed they are set to U.S. settings and I've deleted all my cookies.

Strange...connect with my Samsung S4 and my account displays in USD...connect via my laptop and it displays THB...but it use to display USD....and my Win 7 laptop is doing the same now in displaying THB. And like mentioned in my earlier post, connect to the Singapore Ebay website and USD displays.
