Bamford as you must well know as always been known as "debtors retreat" cheesy.gif

It's only known as that by the "bleaters" who aspire to reside there but can't afford to thumbsup.gif

So that,s why you left then............whistling.gif

Fortunate to be only 2v1 down. Bony and Sterling doing nothing...Nacho looks the footballer of the 3 of them. We are making so many basic mistakes. If Pellegrini is at all bothered about this game he needs to make major surgery and quickly; 3 subs on now. Get Bony and Sterling off. If he doesn't want to put Aguero on then get Nacho up front and strengthen midfield. Sloppy goals. Massive gap between defence and midfield. Poor City!

Look at the subs bench!!!

No youngsters. Demichelis!! Thats a help!

We have lost EVERY game in which we have been losing at half time!!

Thats one of the reasons that Pellegrini doesnt cut it for me!!

I'd get shot of him and try another one.

Rolled over for Wednesday. Made Soton look like Barca. Who to blame for that rubbish today, Pellegrini or most of that team? Nacho apart, pathetic. Sterling, Bony, Delph, Kolorov...hold your head's in shame. 4th place back in jeopardy. Painful viewing with just 2 moments to savior.

A list of 5 or 6 centre forwards who have been dismal for City over the years.........

Gerry Creaney,

Bernie Carradi,

Lee Bradbury,

Santa Cruz,

Jo

All dreadful in my opinion.

Step forward Wilfried Bony........... I would happily take any of those on that list to start before Bony. He is a complete and utter piece of cr@p

I would agree with the 4 main culprits you have named.

I am afraid I was wrong about Delph. Seen him a few times now. Average at best.

Kolarov just cant run or defend.

Sterling still has time on his side. I just hope Pep can do something with him.

Bony, if its possible, just gets worse.

Just heard Pellegrini being interviewed. Blaming the fact that we didnt play on Saturday and he thinks it would have made a difference to our performance!!blink.png

I dont know whether Pellegrinis comments are the dumbest of the week, or Van Gaal who after seeing Fellaini elbow Huth in the face said "it was just a normal reaction"

Yesterday (friday) morning 29th April,Cronkeyshaw common sad.png

[Photo of snow on penultimate day of April in UK deleted]

Came back to Bangkok with family after a shortened 2 week visit the day before yesterday. Weather in UK should be returning to normal soon!

I'm guessing that demands by the family for an annual UK break (only really practicable in the long Thai school holiday) have been killed off for good. Every cloud has a silver lining!

Returning to football:

Proper uninjured centre forwards win titles. No surprise they cost so much. No surprise that Leicester and Spurs are up top and the Mancs, Arsenal and Chelsea are faltering/inconsistent/languishing. At least in your case the absence of a world class centre forward is an injury issue.

Funny to think of all the players you have bought only three or four are worthy of wearing the shirt.

Let's see what your new boss has up his sleeve....mind you had better pull your fingers out or it will be Thursday nights in Azerbaijan! :D

Wow, such a vague statement. Since when are you judging this...I.e. since what season? Like all clubs, we've bought well and we've bought badly.

Your hit v miss rate is especially low.

Are you still laughing at Lamela now BB?

"Your hit v miss rate is especially low."..facts behind that statement please.

Your picking the wrong person in me with regards Lamel as I've never had an opinion about him - I haven't seen him that much. Think you must be getting me confused with one of the other City fans on here.

You'll have to wait till I get home BB for me to pick that to shreds...but let's start with Balotelli at 50/50....biggrin.png

Man of the Match when we won our first trophy for years at Wembley 2011.

Laid on Agueros winning goal for our first title in recent memory.

Decent goal ratio Hit for me when he was a City player. Daft as a brush but a definite hit

For me a MISS is a player who underperformed for us AND we lost a significant amount of money on.

The likes of Boateng, Rodwell, Johnson, Savic, we either made money or got back roughly what we paid.

For me the big misses were Santa Cruz, Adebayor, Bridge, Jovetic,Bony and Mangala( for what we paid)
