I'll try to catch the replay today. Sounds like it was quite a wingding.

A great match to watch. Lovely to see Gundogan and Danilo start with no drop off in effectiveness. With direct play from Sane on the left and Sterling on the right City are a nightmare for defenses. Add in the midfield stars and Aguero. And not to forget the goal scoring centre-backs !:clap2:

You have probably noticed the difference in opinion from the Spurs regulars on here this season and its simply down to the quality of football being played this season.

Really great to watch at long last.

The game in Dec I am really looking forward to.

Aguero's goal against Napoli on Wednesday saw him surpass Eric Brook's total of 177 goals in all competitions for City and become his club's top scorer with 178. Aguero has raced to break the record in 264 games in seven seasons.

Premier League = 129 goals in 188 appearances

Kane is the Premier League's top scorer so far this season with eight goals, scoring once every 99 minutes. Aguero has seven goals, but at an average of one every 78 minutes - the best ratio of any player to have scored four league goals or more in 2017-18.

Shearer is the only man to have hit 100 Premier League goals quicker than Aguero.

Aguero wears an ancient pair of football boots which used to belong to old-time soccer star, "Dead Shot" Keen.

The plaudits usually go toour forwards/attacking midfielders but last night it was the likes of Fernandinho (quietly effective and everywhere), Stones, Otamendi (seen him given MoM in a few places), Delph, Gundogan (how good was he in only his 2nd start in a long time due to his injury) and Ederson (what a save to keep it 2v2 and seconds later we were 2v3 up). I never rated Delph before, though it's fair to say he was only ever given minutes, but he's been sensational as a make-shift LB,so much so that if we'd bought him as a LB we'd be happy - he's clearly not a defender's defender but his ability to attack and defend as a LD PLUS step in to midfield has offered us something more than Mendy.

Very small sample their BB for this season and stats will probably change by the end of the season,  Aguero has only started 6 games in the Premier League, your better off working from  last season's stats.

2016 / 2017 : kane scoring 29 at an average of one every 87 mins, Aguero  scoring 20 at an average of one every 120 mins.

Thing is they have Jesus aswell.  Very expensive but already looks a proven goalscorer.  Kane's the best striker and most consistent as the stats prove

Anyway, how things look to me at this early juncture.   City will continue to carve sides up and win the league in a canter.  Chelsea's defense is too leaky, as is Liverpools, Spurs just seem to come up short when it matters, still a nearly team, United's hoof ball will struggle against the lower table teams who won't be forced to make the initiative,  and Arsenal have Wenger who is a prime example of a dog that can't be taught new tricks.

Its a long way off carms....don't worry about injuries yet!

I'm already worried about injuries....in particular Wanyama and Alderweirald, two of our stand outs of last season.  You can get away with injuries against lesser opponents but i'm not so sure with the likes of City the way they are playing.  And this game on Dec 16th is already looking like a game we'll have to win if anyones going to haul City back in.  Lets face it, we all know Jose's only going to be looking for a point!!

Wanyama is back training already and with Toby well hamstrings are hard to judge....hopefully just a month.

Wanyama is off to see a specialist isn't he and possibly out for the rest of the season, unless i'm very much mistaken.  Alderweirald, yes, about a month.

Apologies City fans

Yeah. Never heard anything so loud in all my life. Was a tad scary TBH but at least the defence system is working

I ducking bet it was, you’re right near there. Can’t believe it got that close...

Another professional performance from City. Arsenal put up a decent fight but in the end lacking. Some strange tinkering by Wenger with Coquelin as a central defender, and not starting Lacazette.

I hate International breaks and fingers crossed that no major injuries are suffered.

They did put up a fight but you were totally superior.  Sane, De Bruyne, Silva is quite a combination.

To be fair, I thought we looked a tad fatigued but considering that ding-dong with Napoli earlier in the week, that's to be expected.

Arsenal didn't play bad but I thought overall, we deserved the win. Our last goal was deffo offside but the pen wasn't a dive as Wenger said. If you barge into the opposition in your own box, you are giving a decision to make to the ref.
