Hi All, my oil pressure gauge is measured in KG centimeter squared, so at 2500 rpm it reads 36 on a hot engine, is this ok and what would be the reading in PSI.

The engine is a Nisan SR20 DET.

Are you sure it's 36 Kg/cm2, that would be just over 500 psi.

More likely 3.6 Kg/cm2 which would be approx 51 psi. good for hot engine at 2500 rpm.

But I suspect you're misreading your gauge, 36kg/cm2 is 512 psi

Hi Thank you for the information, 3.6 not 36 and have now found a website with a conversion chart, pleased to know the oil pressure is good.
