draftvader Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 The police put themselves in the firing line all the time with unnecessary comments. Why did they even need to state that the results would not be forwarded to the UK police? They should note the way the UK police have handled themselves during their investigation observation. We've heard nothing from them at all. Which must be confusing the hell out of the RTP 1
off road pat Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) Correct me if I'm Wrong...!!!!??? They always compare the DNA with the cigarette bud found near the victim,....But never talk about DNA samples collected from the body of the victim...????? As far as I know they don't have DNA samples from in and out the body of the victim,....there was no doctor able to collect DNA samples on Koh Tao,.... They consider the cigarette bud to be from the rapist/killer...??? (Could be any ones !!!!) That's why they caught those Burmese guys,...these guys were known to play guitar and smoke near that place that night....!!!! SO!!!!, of course the DNA sample from the headman's son don't match.....the cigarette bud.... Edited November 1, 2014 by off road pat 1
Fat Haggis Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 The RTP confused ? Never!!! It's like putting two shovels against a wall and telling them to take their pick !! ? 1
JOC Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Makes you wonder, who are they really protecting?? Must be someone high up in the foodchain!! Not sure if there is any truth in what was already reported but Suthep is supposed to be his Uncle however I don't really see what bearing having such a person of interests as Khun Suthep would have any influence on any outcome, other than he owns quite a substantial part of the Region. That could expain, just speculating, why the army has acted like kittens in this case. Since Suthep gave Prayuth the excuse, he needed to stage the coup!! Personally I believe, they are trying to protect a very substancial moneyflow!! Use your imagination!!
StealthEnergiser Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Just reading on csiLA they are saying the pancake translator said that a wine bottle was used as a weapon.

Popular Post NongKhaiKid Posted November 1, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 1, 2014 The police have made lots of errors but to me this is the biggest. The police on Koh Tao Island have announced they have arrested a suspect in the murder of two British tourists in Koh Tao and are still hunting for a second suspect who has escaped into Bangkok. http://www.chiangraitimes.com/koh-tao-murder-suspect-arrested-another-on-the-run.html Mon and Nomsod. He said both suspects were captured by CCTV cameras and the police have gathered enough evidence to implicate them in the murders. http://englishnews.thaipbs.or.th/one-tourist-murder-suspect-now-arrested-another-run/ Here is the cctv evidence. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3sHTxNP2N4 Cameras know you by your walk http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg21528835.600-cameras-know-you-by-your-walk.html I sincerely hope the defence team have a researcher(s) making a chronological list, starting on Day 1, of all the comments etc made by the BIB and Thai officialdom to show all the claims, changes of story and so on. Would be quite an eye opener, would put the BIB on the spot and any refusal to answer or comment quite damning. 7

thailandchilli Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Just reading on csiLA they are saying the pancake translator said that a wine bottle was used as a weapon. The question is where is that rotee seller now? And where is the wine bottle or broken glass? Evidence of Mon and the headman crawling all over the crime scene maybe a hint 1
Popular Post catweazle Posted November 1, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 1, 2014 DNA results from the four state hospitals in Bangkok -- Police General Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, Siriraj Hospital and Chulalongkorn Hospital -- now show that the two men are not involved with the murders and so it is unnecessary to forward the DNA results to the British government because it had no doubt about the investigation being conducted by the Thai police, said Pol Lt Gen Prawut. Wow! I am so relieved!!! And wow!!! I am at awe that the RTP has the nerve to tell the British government that they won't need to see the test results... Who did the counter matching? Who can assure that the DNA samples found in Hannah haven't been swapped or tempered with? For this atrocity and the lack of professionalism and ethics, Thailand deserves sanctions and some kind of international court ruling that requires an international assembly of csi specialists to tear this farce apart. Everything would have been different if that little prick wouldn't have disappeared for a whole week and refused to give a DNA sample in the very beginning. Shame on everyone involved in this stitch-up. Honor to the ones who fight to find out the truth despite all the threats. Power to the people! 12

BritTim Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 And where is the wine bottle or broken glass? Glass is almost the ultimate medium from which to extract fingerprints. If it were true, then removing it from the investigation would be a top priority. Note that finding traces of broken glass in (for instance) the victims' hair would still be possible from an embalmed body. I do, however, doubt the wine bottle hypothesis as I think some evidence of it would have shown up on the photos.
jdinasia Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 This complicity must go right to the top! Outrageous really that a country can stick two fingers up to the international community & get away with it. Only sanctions from the UK, and a tourist blacklist will make these creatures take any noticeI'd prefer to see full international sanctions against Thailand for that matter. It would hardly affect us who live here, but it would certainly affect KTao and this pair of corrupt, ugly, lying bastards, and the son, for that matter. You are dreaming. The UK won't put sanctions on Thailand and nobody else has any reason to. In fact, what basis would the UK have for sanctions? 2 cits died, they don't like how the investigation was handled? Certainly a possibility, though we don't know how the UK government feels. People die all over and often as a result of the actions of foreign governments on foreign land. Usually with no investigation. If the UK did, how would Thailand respond? Would they toss out the ambassador? Cancel the visas for UK cits? What people seem to forget is that no country has standing to interfere in domestic matters of another country. 1

Popular Post dcutman Posted November 1, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 1, 2014 What ever happened to Gen Panya after he made his announcement that Mon and Worat were prime suspects? And why were Mon and Worat dismissed as suspects so quickly after Lt Gen Chakthip to over the case. 5
changnaam Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 I would love to know what has happened to Panya. Bet he feels the same way, his reputation I guess has suffered because of this mess. At least he tried.

Popular Post Commerce Posted November 1, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 1, 2014 The first mistake the RTP/Government made was to treat this as 'just another farang death in Thailand and that it would eventually blow over. Not this time. They have seriously been caught with their pants down. No, actually. The first mistake was that police officers at the scene of the crime took pics with their cameras and went home and released them onto the social net. Thick as shit or what? Not only did they release gruesome pictures of an unyet DNA'd crime scene, they thought they might get a little earner or two from it. That was the first mistake, and it stinks more than most of what has followed since. Prayuth and Co. threaten us in using social media...... well I'd love to be invited to court with the histories of BIB events I have stored on an external drive. The BIB efed up by releasing pictures of the deceased on the day of discovery, and then making statements they now have retracted concerning the well knit island family and henchmen, who were the INITIAL SUSPECTS, until positions of power and money started to negotiate. In essence, KTao should be a NO GO area for any foreigner, from any land - and that should be emphasised. The AC Bar and its owner should be made to pay, by not having any kind of farang/foreign custom, and I condemn any backpackers or holiday makers to even go near the bar, or that bitch in particular. Edit: spelling correction; 'Beach'. 3
givenall Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 I will wait to hear from the British authorities before I believe this result
