A 24-year-old IT student at SETEC University was charged by Phnom Penh Municipal Court yesterday for posting 14 nude photos of a woman on Facebook and demanding money from her in exchange for deleting the pictures

Eng Samphors, who was arrested on March 27 this year, was charged with pornography distribution and extortion, said judge Mong Mony Sorphea.

The 21-year-old victim said Samphors, whom she met through Facebook last December, raped her twice after inviting her to his house in Phnom Penh on February 10.

“After raping me, he took my nude photos,” she said, adding that Samphors posted the photos after she declined to meet again.

During his hearing yesterday, Samphors confessed to posting the photos but denied blackmailing the woman, saying she was his girlfriend.

“I posted her nude photos on my Facebook because I got angry that she refused to meet me,” Somphors said.

A verdict is due to be handed down on November 22.

So he expected her to 'meet' him after raping her twice. What did he expect the poor lass to do ?
