Dear Members,

I would like your valued opinion on the subject below.

Last Friday, I went to the hospital to have a check-up.

The reason is that I feel a little tired after my 5km walk in the morning. (That’s my daily exercise for the past 7 years)

So the good nurse, that happens to be my wife, took me in the hospital, sat me down and started taking lots of blood from my arm. (Got the feeling, she loves pocking me)

Then off to X-rays and finally after some time on the treadmill, had an ECG.

I love all this attention, I get, from all the cute nurses that they like fussing over my athletic body (Possum, take notice of what I wrote), but always being very careful the wife doesn’t notice (still want my private parts in tact).

After seeing the doctor, that gave me a thorough examination, got in the car and back home to TVF.

All these, of course for free. (That is one of the privileges you get being married to a civil servant in Thailand)

Come 4:00 in the afternoon, went back to get the wife as she finished her shift.

She comes and sits next to me, looks at me with a serious face and says:

The results are out, my love, and I’m not happy at all.

Immediately I felt a weird sensation in my stomach but I managed to open my mouth and ask her.

Et (that’s her name……in fact she resembles a little Spielberg’s E.T.), what’s wrong with me?

What did they find out?

Am I going to live?

Please give it to me slowly………………..

Again with a serious face she answers:

No, the results are all fine; in fact the doctor was amazed with you, at your age, to be as healthy as you are.

But I’m not happy, knowing that we still have so many more years to live together…

Please, dear members, tell me…….Does she love me?

Although, have to admit, got a cuddle and a kiss afterwards.

PS. It would be good and sensible for all of you to have a thorough check-up at least once a year.

but i think she still loves you just want that you plan your/her next Loy Kratong more generous and don't be so <deleted>stingy and invest in a kratong with a 5000hp diesel engine...

That's good advice Costas, but there was a guy in Pattaya a few years back, well to cut a long story short, he got a check up and was told he had a terminal illness, and could be cured for so many thousand baht. he decided to go back to the UK for another check up and was given the all clear. May some posters will remember what I am talking about. But nice OP Costas, credit where it's due.
