Installation Kit for New Toilet

Just bought a new toilet to replace the old one. Manufacturer is Bathline. Got it from MEGA Home in Bowin. However, I cannot find an installation kit for it anywhere.

It does not have fixing holes on the base, however, it does have 2 horizontal holes in the sides.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I could find this kit?

Took my builder with me to Bowin and the sales people reckoned that none of their toilets ( and there are dozens to choose from) come with installation kits and MEGA don't sell them either!!!

Mega Home as I understand, is a new concept large format modern trade store of HomePro. Bathline is made in China and sold in Thailand by a marketing company. That same Thai marketing company sells nicknacks on their facebook page. Better sanitary ware sold in Thailand does in fact include installation kits. I've opened a few boxes, even the made in China, American Standard toilets of a certain price range, come standard with an installation kit. Most any Cotto or Toto dealer will stock proper installation kits. Mogen, Nahm, Kohler all include installation kits when you buy a Mogen, Nahm or Kohler toilet.

But even when they do include such a kit most Thai will not bother to use them as they are not required. Normal procedure is to cement to floor as both will be real cement rather than plastic covered wood many or us are used to having in the West. In my 40 years experience here have not found such installation to be a real issue - when required toilets can still be removed. As much as I hate having pieces left over.

Responding to the OP: (As above) Even if you do find a kit for the brand you purchased, a local installer (concrete guy) will probably not know what to do with it. So, I would abandon that idea.

But, what are the "horizontal holes"? The toilet 'exit' should be a hole on the bottom that can be lined up to the sewer PVC and then motored in.

These 2 holes, one on either side are about 1/4" diameter. Looks like the fixing kit in the next post might do it. But no seal etc?

As most Thai toilets cemented into the floor, don't need a seal.

I do know that Cotto makes and provided a seal set with last two more expensive models I bought from them (about 8,000 baht range). But they were not used by installers. Expect that could be used with any model.

Never found a wax gasket and fixing kit in store (and a lot of blank looks in most stores when I asked about one) but I did manage to order one from Boonthavorn. Mine was Cotto but I think they're a standard affair. Very easy to fix yourself and the benefit over the 'white cement' approach the Thai builders use is that you can always replace or relocate the toilet later without damaging it.

In Boonthavorn Pattaya, there is one wax gasket on its own. But with no fixing kit which must pull the toilet on to the seal. They also had one 4" non wax gasket, which I bought. I assumed that 4" was standard as Homepro had dozens of them, all 4". Guess what? Toilet I bought had a bigger discharge pipe. However, the toilet is installed now, had to get the guy back as it stunk the first night. He had to re cement the back of the unit, seems OK now

Beleave you mean unstuck - normally you do not use for one day to allow cement to set.
