American Passport Renewal Process
After making an appointment I dropped off my passport and application at American Consular Services in Bangkok on July 14. Received new passport today August 5. So it took 22 days soup to nuts. Although the envelope had some damage the passport seems ok. -

Buriram is only a bit over 300kms so it could do that quite easily. I assume the wide range is because there will be different models for different applications, just like we have with EVs. I don't think these things are a great idea, but don't see why Buriram wouldn't be achievable. -

Putting STIs aside, there are many type of vaginal infections a woman can have and treatment for each differs. Excluding STIs, the main types are fungal (candida), trichomonal and bacterial. There are some "3 in one" preparations to be had which can be useful when it is nto clear which type is present, as follows: Gynecon Neo-Penetran Forte and some others. No presecription needed. These are vaginal suppositiories, to be inserted before bed. Use up the full pack. Please ignore the suggestion for Amoxicillin Clavulanate (clamoxil) as this is not effective treatment for vaginitis and indeed can make some types worse. If above treatment does not work then there is nothing for it but to see a doctor. Ditto if an STI is suspected. -

U.K. EV values fall off a cliff
UK Gov Electric Car Grant launched Car manufacturers can apply for vehicle eligibility for the grant from 16 July 2025. The Electric Car Grant has 2 bands. £3,750 for the most sustainably produced cars and £1,500 for cars that meet some environmental criteria. This is in recognition of the need to address embedded carbon emissions across a vehicle’s lifetime, as well as tailpipe emissions. Vehicles that do not meet minimum sustainability standards will not be eligible for a grant. The minimum environmental criterion is for manufacturers to hold a verified science based target. Science based targets are commitments corporate entities make to reduce their environmental impact, in line with the UK’s international climate commitments, which are verified by the independent Science Based Targets Initiative. The amount of grant available per vehicle will depend on the level of emissions associated with production of the vehicle.
