In the Nation, 76% clicked the story made them feel 'happy', a further 6% 'amused' and an additional 3% 'inspired'! 'Inspired' to do what?? Go out and murder some errant teenagers?? blink.png

The whole world has lost any semblance of sense of community.

That is a very broad assumption, based on the responses to a generic poll by some readers of one so-called newspaper...

Looks like somebody finally got tired of these muppets and decided to take, what in retrospect is, a very dangerous action.

Hopefully no-one will die, lesson learned? Doubt it. They'll be back tomorrow.

I understand the frustration of having NO RULE OF LAW. This might be an instance of taking action - not rational - to address situations where police might have interceded, if in fact Thailand had a functioning police force.

Based on the previous comment, ratcatcher and selftaopath seem to be in the 'happy', if not 'inspired' category.

So they had stopped for the traffic lights, that's good isn't it?

And then they were rammed by a car from behind soon after they turned green by an impatient driver in a more powerful vehicle, that's bad isn't it?

Or am I missing something, the report says they were road racers yet no mention of a road race is given, only stopping at traffic lights before being run down.

I rather think you're missing something.

The statement that they are road racers would suggest to most people that they were in fact racing at some point that evening.

The fact of a race is not relevant to the story.

Otherwise, surely, they would just be a group of motorcyclists.

A ) How do they know the motorcycles are ”road racers” (whatevet that means

B ) How do they know the driver of the car was ”angry”?

More assumption-taking, sensationalist 'journalisn' by The Nation...surprise.

Indeed, he wasn't angry, he was 'inspired'.

He could very well have been 'inspired'...or just being inattentive, or texting , or having a medical emergency, or mechanical problems on the car.

Based on the information in the story, we have no idea regarding the driver's state of mind.

Shame it was only a car and not a motorcade of 18 wheelers.

All we know about the driver's state of mind was he/she was in a hurry, speeding.

Probably late to an appointment.

You know how punctual Thais like to be.

Arrive inspired, not dog tired...

We were all young once, I still am..............laugh.png

Maybe that's all they were. There is no reference to any road racing anywhere in the story.

TV nutters out in force on this one.

Someone drives his vehicle into a group of stationary motorcycles, hospitalizes six and then does a runner to the applause of the TV nutters............

LIke to see the reaction on here if a drunk German did it.

Well, they show little enough concern for the safety of every other road user - and pedestrian - so it was just a matter of time. I'm surprised they had actually stopped for the lights.

youngsters ? are you brain dead ? or are you onna da twits ?

Pity they were on the bikes, my wish would have been for the car to ram and wreck all 100 motor bikes, that would put a stop to the road madness in that area.

Anyone guilty of these crazy dangerous frolics shold be find black listed-community service and the bike confiscated and sold off the proceeds going to the mentally handicapped.

So you want to sell their bikes and RETUN the money to them whistling.gifgiggle.gif

Without knowing the back story all this debate is frivolous.

No eyewitness could tell police the license number of the car.

Fake, fake!

Many indeed caught the license plate number, only they were too dumb to remember it 30 min. later to tell the police!

You can't even make a joke properly. Your logic makes no sense. Forgot it or not, they were still unable to tell the police the number. Nice try though, next time mate.

Hmm...I'm afraid it's you, lust, who's not making sense. Fail.
