Chuwit Kamolwisit is the darling of the Thai people. He is widely respected.

Just ask a Thai person. Show them his picture if you cannot pronounce his name. The Thai person will express their admiration. If they don't, they are lying because they are scared of the military or they are unrepresentative.

Are Thai people reknown for their discernement? Oh well, when you think so...

I just asked my Thai wife and she doesn't like him at all.

I asked her father, he doesn't like him either.

I asked the two builders working on my house and they don't like him either.

Sorry Briggsy...... Completely wrong.

Please see my final sentence.

Not at home they're not... you're way off the mark.

Nobody in my family likes this slime-bag either.

You have an issue with Thai people?

Here the same, not liked....

Yep wrong, he got very few seats in the last election and lost when running for bkk governor. He is a pimp, and many people in bkk remember his suk soi 10 saga.

Whilst saying this, at least he protests which I completely agree with.

Calling him the darling of Thais is indeed wrong.

"he got very few seats in the last election"

Surely his main aim was just to get himself into parliament, so that he could 'rock the boat' a little bit, the few extra seats his party picked-up were a slightly-unexpected bonus ?

Is Chuwit still quite pro-Thaksin ? I think he is.

Chuwit is mainly pro-Chuwit.

Honestly I enjoy watching his political campaigns and publicity stunts. Seeing him in parliament was refreshing too, he pushed a lot of people's buttons, etc.

God forbid he's ever put in charge of anything, though.
