Can this be done? Android+windows+wireless connect to old projector

Featured Replies

Is there any kind of wireless box or device that I can connect to a projector that only has vga, s video, the usual red white audio connection & yellow video connection and wirelessly use this projector with a tablet, cell phone, computer, using windows, android and maybe with apple but really have to be able to use it with windows and android.

I will be using it mostly with power point and pdfs. thanks for any suggestions and links to any kind of device.

Yes, there are several ways. Probably the best bet to get these devices:

  1. A HDMI to AV Converter to convert the projecter to HDMI since it doesn't support HDMI.
  2. A wireless HDMI adapter.

I don't know of any place in Thailand to purchase them, but you can order them easily enough through AliExpress and have them shipped to Thailand free. I order a lot of hard to find items and always opt for the "free shipping". I've haven't ever had a problem with customs. It usually takes about 3 weeks for me to get them.

  1. HDMI to AV Converters : http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20141130211430&SearchText=HDMI+to+AV%2FCVBS+L%2FR+Video+Adapter
  2. Wireless HDMI adapters: http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=AS_20141130210925&SearchText=wifi+hdmi+adapter
