transporting a car from north to south

Featured Replies

i bought a wonderful used car and now need to transport it from lampang to surat, actually kanchanadit district. i wasn't sure the car was up for such a long trip so i've decided to have it transported south. please recommend any companies - REPUTABLE - and a phone number if you can. BTW i've heard that there are containers available somewhere whereby a car and a few other contents (such as mattresses etc.) could be shipped together. ever hear of such a thing? thanks for your time.

It all goes on container size and distance. Just pack it to the hilt. Lots of companies about probably by word of mouth though

Don't make sense to me, why not drive it and find out how it goes, it's not that far and if it has any problems on route you can sort it.smile.png

My understanding is that cars are usually driven and if it is such a wonderful buy then why not drive it ?

However if you are set on having it transported look on the photography pages under bus and truck photos and you will see trucks from many transport companies some of them with phone numbers or web sites clearly visible, here is one to start you off :

You could try rail from and to the nearest station at either end.

Or you could google 'Thai road transport companies' or something similar.
